Felony DWI: Penalties

The penalties for a second or subsequent DWI conviction in New York increase significantly from the penalties for a first DWI. If you have been convicted of your second DWI in 10 years, you face up to four years in prison, license suspension for one year and thousands of dollars in fines. The penalties for a third DWI conviction or vehicular manslaughter caused by drunk driving are much more severe.

I can help you fight your felony DWI charges. With more than three decades of experience in the local criminal courts, I understand the specifics of New York DWI laws. As a former criminal prosecutor, I understand how the other side gathers evidence and builds its case — and use that information to build an effective defense on your behalf.
